Key Functions/ Basic Duties: |
Manage and ensure that all operational job functions are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and meet contractual obligations. Manage and effectively use corporate and project resources. Create comprehensive training plans and deliver training to staff members. Maintain professional demeanor in appearance, conduct, and workplace relationships, and strive to lead by example. Consult appropriately with stakeholders regarding project changes and decisions. Communicate changes and decisions appropriately with staff and stakeholders. Perform related duties as assigned. |
Additional Duties: |
Knowledge of: Company organization, operations, policies, and objectives; Policies and procedures involved in SDU payment processing; Child Support Enforcement policies related to payment processing; Thorough working knowledge of both the State child support system and the SMART System; Principles and practices of supervision; Technical aspects of field of specialty; Strong oral and written communications skills; Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment; and Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy. Ability to: Organize and prioritize workflow; Work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude; Exercise discretion and good judgment in problem resolution; Display professionalism in communications, conduct, and appearance; Interact effectively with others in the workplace; Maintain an effective working relationship with State staff and other contacts; Work as a team member to complete assignments, goals, and deadlines; Go the extra mile when necessary to get the job done; Handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly while meeting required deadlines; Lead and direct a diverse group of people under stressful conditions; and Be available to work extended and flexible schedules as requested by management. |
Education and/ or Experience: |
Must have at a minimum a two year college degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work. At least two years prior experience in a supervisory position. |
Language Skills: |
Must be fluent in English. |
Computer Skills: |
Must be proficient in data entry skills including keyboard, mouse, and 10 key pad. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. |
