Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of dental services to children in school environments.
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
- Accurately manage patient charting and records.
- Collaborate effectively with a small team to deliver efficient care.
- Travel to various schools within Brooklyn and Queens as required.
- Dental Assistant Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- CPR certification card.
- Experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Familiarity with Digital X-rays.
- Proficiency in patient charting (both paper forms and tooth surface charting).
- Valid ID and willingness to travel to local schools.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Relevant experience as a Dental Assistant is essential.
- Strong communication skills, particularly with children, are necessary.
