Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant with an RDA and X-ray license to provide top-notch care at multiple SmileCrew locations in North Austin, including Leander, Cedar Park, and Marble Falls. In this role, youll travel between sites, assisting our orthodontists and ensuring seamless and efficient operations. With travel pay included, youll have the opportunity to work across various locations and contribute to our growing SmileCrew community.

Work Schedule:

• Thursdays and Fridays, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM or until the last patient is seen.
• Travel across North Austin locations (Leander, North Austin/Cedar Park, Marble Falls) with travel pay provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform orthodontic-specific duties such as applying braces, Invisalign, adjusting appliances, taking/making impressions, performing itero scans, and taking panos/ceph.
• Set up and take down equipment efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with same-day starts, ensuring timely and high-quality patient care.
• Maintain patient comfort and care during all interactions, ensuring a positive experience.
• Ensure accurate patient record-keeping and documentation using computer systems, including Cloud9 (preferred but not required).
• Collaborate with the SmileCrew team to ensure consistent communication and high standards of care across all locations.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and orthodontic procedures.

• Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.
• X-ray license.
• 1 years of orthodontic experience.
• Proficiency with Cloud9 (a plus but not mandatory).
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate digital systems efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between North Austin locations (Cedar Park, Leander, and Marble Falls)
