Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to determine oral health needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in performing oral surgery procedures is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly.
