What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental CAD/CAM Designer position at Smile Design Dental Lab?
We are looking to add a dental crown CAD designer to our team. This is an on site position. We are not looking for remote designers or any design services.
Our ideal candidate is experienced in using 3shape dental designer to design dental crowns, models, appliances, and implant abutments in accordance to client specifications. Must be knowledgeable in dental anatomy and fabrication processes for optimal designs of restorations for form and function.
Skills and qualities:
- Attention to detail: Must design crowns per patient and client preferences.
- Able to prioritize: Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks based on due dates and production timelines.
- Flexible and adaptable: Must be able to work in a dynamic environment where last minute changes are made or rush cases come in. Also must be able to make changes to designs and processes based on feedback.
- Team Player: Must have a team mindset and work well and communicate with others.
Responsibilities
- Design and create dental prosthetics using CAD technology, ensuring precision and quality.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to understand patient needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to enhance design accuracy.
- Assist in laboratory tasks and support other duties in the CAD/CAM department
- Stay updated with advancements in dental fabrication techniques and technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
