As a Dental Lab Wax and Metal Technician, you will be essential in the fabrication of dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring precision and quality in every product. Reporting to the Lab Manager, you will utilize your core skills in dental fabrication, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory experience to create customized solutions for patients.
Potential candidates should be proficient in shaping and sculpting wax frameworks for dental restorations. Designs must be anatomically correct, aesthetic, and functional. Must be knowledgeable in casting and refining of metal substructures for dental crowns, bridges, and implants.
Must also be able to manage and prioritize cases according to fabrication processes and deadlines. Must be a team player and work well with others in a fast paced dynamic environment.
This is a full time position M-F with pay starting at $50k/year depending on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental restorations using wax and metal materials, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, following safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to understand patient needs and preferences.
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately interpret prescriptions and designs.
- Document laboratory processes and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
