Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. CDT certification would be valuable in this position but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental fabrication and a solid understanding of anatomy and medical terminology. Removable dental prosthetic fabrication skill set is necessary. Knowledge of various dental implant platforms is essential as well. We are a growing business and his position will come with lots of opportunity to grow within the position. At first we intend to service our existing client base but plan to grow the laboratory side of the business as well.
Duties
- Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using various materials and techniques.
- Utilize CAD software for designing dental restorations and ensure precision in measurements.
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain infection control throughout the fabrication process.
- Collaborate with dentists to understand specific patient needs and preferences.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, procedures performed, and patient specifications.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance skills and service delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with CAD software for dental applications is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols within a dental setting.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental structures.
- Ability to use precision instruments such as micrometers for accurate measurements.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
