Our dental practice is entering a growth phase and we are seeking to hire and add to our highly motivated team of dental professionals such as yourself.
Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator
Job Description
Overview
The main focus of this position is to drive growth for the dental practice.
Working to:
1. Reactivate patients not seen in 6 months
2. Converting prospective patients into actual patients
3. Submit PTE
4. Solicit and obtain Google Reviews and Patient Referrals
Success will be measured by monthly and annual increase in active patients, new patients, practice collections, practice production, and Google reviews.
Current situation
Smile Brookline is 100% fee for service at time of service. No balance billing, co-pays, or EOBs. As such, we are Customer centric offering concierge level service. Establishing relationships and trust with patients is the key to our success.
What we need:
1) Phones/scheduling treatment
a. Collect payment day of treatment; schedule follow up appointments.
2) Work with insurance companies: PTE, claims submissions, benefit verification, appeals etc.
3) Someone who is great on phones/in-person/writing
a. Get new PTs in the door (conversions)
b. Reactivate PT who have not been in the practice in 6 months (conversions)
c. Track various stages of treatment (PTE, Treatment Plan, Financing, outside services (endo, perio, ortho) with heavy emphasis on PT follow-up
d. Encourage and solicit social media reviews (Google/Yelp). Track reviews, and respond to reviews in a timely manner.
e. Encourage and solicit Patient Referrals.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by the practice. This a position that one grows into with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in dental office management
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix software
- Understanding of medical records management
- Ability to oversee practice tasks efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
