Overview: We are seeking an organized, motivated, and customer-service-oriented Patient/Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic practice. This key role ensures the efficient and smooth daily operation of our office. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and play a pivotal role in supporting our team, providing exceptional service to both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Provide excellent communication through greeting, assisting, and dismissing patients in person, as well as maintaining professional contact via phone, email, and text.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the scheduling of both hygiene and doctor appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Team Support: Assist in supporting all team members, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Insurance & Billing: Submit insurance claims on behalf of our patients and conduct benefit research to ensure coverage and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in scheduling and managing patient appointments.
- Familiarity with insurance processes and benefit verification is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide excellent patient care.
- Must have dental experience
