Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, and preventive care.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety and hygiene.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress using electronic health records systems such as Epic.
- Fabricate dental appliances as needed for patient treatment plans.
- Provide guidance on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care to patients.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including medical imaging and understanding of dental terminology.
- Experience in four-handed dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
