Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in various dental procedures, and a commitment to patient care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental extractions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
- Provide preventive care education to patients regarding oral hygiene and health practices.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Manage pediatric patients with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for children.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and ability to pass all required background checks.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and proficiency in medical documentation.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
- Experience in prosthodontics, pediatrics, oral surgery, and dental extractions is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
