We are currently looking for a dedicated Front Desk/Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team and help manage day-to-day front desk functions while delivering outstanding service to our patients.
Position Overview:
As a Front Desk/Treatment Plan Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, helping patients with scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and treatment plan coordination. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, busy appointment schedule, ensuring all front desk functions run smoothly, and following up with patients on treatment plans and recall lists. You must have a strong understanding of dental terminology and treatment plans, and be confident in handling the administrative tasks associated with managing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently
- Verify insurance benefits and ensure accurate information for billing
- Check patients in and out, collect copays, and handle patient payments
- Manage a busy appointment book and ensure efficient scheduling
- Follow up with patients on treatment plans and recall lists
- Enter insurance checks and perform other billing and administrative tasks
- Assist with treatment plan coordination and communication with patients regarding their dental care
- Handle payment plans and financing options for patients
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office, preferably in a front desk or treatment coordinator role
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and treatment plans
- Experience with dental insurance verification and billing processes
- Proficient in EMS software (or similar dental software) and comfortable with multiple applications

- Dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required
- Personable, friendly, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy office environment
