We’re looking for a Project Superintendent to join us. You'll lead daily on-site operations for Government/Military projects - ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Job Title: Superintendent (Government Projects)
Salary: $100,000-$120,000
Location: Stonington, CT
Key Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Maintain job site safety and ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and meetings.
Scheduling:
- Keep the construction schedule up to date.
- Coordinate material orders and inspections.
Job Site Management:
- Oversee all construction activities and maintain an organized job site.
- Ensure projects are completed to quality standards and within financial goals.
Communication:
- Send weekly project updates.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and the team.
- Report daily progress and issues to the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Project Superintendent in construction. (Federal Project experience strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of construction processes and methods.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
