We are excited to announce a new opportunity as a Hospice RN Team Manager for our rapidly expanding organization. Our organization has been around for over 100 years and we focus on treating geriatric patients in rehabilitation and long term care facilities throughout New York City and Long Island. As the Hospice RN Team Manager, you would be working alongside a supportive team and have a multitude of job functions. Title: Hospice Registered Nurse Team Manager
Location: Manhattan
Compensation: $140,000-$160,000 full comprehensive benefits
Responsibilities:
Implementing new strategic measures to expand patient continuity of care
Managing performance and analytics
Interacting with Human Resources and Finance department when appropriate
Involved in hiring new staff members and making annual budgets
Making sure the evaluation of hospice patients is up to par and within company guidelines
Educating staff members on correct hospice treatment
Documenting notes in EMR system
Conducting team meetings if necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN Degree in Nursing
At least 3 years Hospice, Oncology, or palliative care registered nurse experience
Active New York State Registered Nurse license
Supervisory or management experience preferred
BLS
Leadership skills
