The firm is continuously growing and they are looking to add a number of MDs, one particular area of interest is Healthcare IT. They are looking for an MD with a book of business to bring on to their platform in the Healthcare space. Ideally they would like this Investment Banking MD to sit in either New York City or Boston.

Title: Investment Banking – Healthcare IT Managing Director
Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 Bonus
Location: Boston, MA
Responsibilities:
- Originate and support the execution of Healthcare IT transactions
- Focus on Sell side M&A Advisory part of the Transactions
- Understand and be familiar with Financial Models and Business Valuations of a broad range of Healthcare companies ($300mn to $3bm deals)
- Work hand in hand with Directors and VPs to support transactions
- Manage junior resources, lead teams and expand HC team
- Mentor junior Bankers and support firm growth initiatives
- Business Development activities to originate deals, expand the HC IT footprint as well as grow your personal brand in the market
- Primarily focus on Origination of the deals in the HC IT market, across M&A Strategic Advisory as well as Capital Markets (ECM/DCM and IPO)
Requirements:
- BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field, MBA is highly preferred
- Boutique Investment Banking background and or mid market Investment Banking background is a major plus
- Minimum 12 years of overall M&A and or Investment Banking experience, along with relevant IB Series licenses
- Track record of Origination of at least 4 to 5 years, revenue numbers should be $5mn to $20mn depending on previous platform and market trends
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, lead a practice, build teams, and expand firm footprint
- Strong work ethic and history of success of executing deals in the middle markets
