Title: Senior Risk Analyst
Location: Hartford County, CT
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 plus bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the development and the implementation of the organization’s RCSA Program.
- Identify and prioritize business objectives
- Assess and manage high risk areas of business processes
- Self-evaluate the adequacy of controls
- Develop risk treatment and action plans
- Organize meetings, workshops, and related questionnaires.
- Assist in developing RCSA schedule and monitor the Execution Progress.
- Track identified issues to resolution.
- Create and maintain procedures, job aids, templates, etc.
- Utilize the organization’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool.
- Develop management reporting. Provide risk and control guidance to the process owners.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or related field. A Masters is a plus
- Approximately 5 - 10 years of audit, risk management, compliance, or internal controls experience.
- Familiarity with RCSA (Risk Control Self Assessments), Risk Control framework, and the ability to document controls.
- Knowledge and expertise in banking would be highly valued.
- In-depth knowledge of risk identification, control evaluation, and remediation plan development.
- GRC tools or related experience is a plus.
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills, and a high level of organization and enthusiasm.
- Experience in a high profile, executive office environment requiring a professional presentation and strong business acumen, strong relationship building skills, and a demonstrated ability to interact diplomatically and with integrity, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
