What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Content Intern position at Smith & Associates?

Internships are Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week. Our Marketing Content Intern will gain experience alongside our Marketing Content Manager by developing plans to reach our target audiences and differentiate Smith from competitors in the semiconductor industry. They’ll do so by creating the brand image and ensuring consistent tones and visuals across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging written content for various marketing materials and internal communications, including blogs, email campaigns, and Viva Engage
- Develop clean, clear, and accurate content that maintains Smith’s voice and adheres to our brand standards
- Oversee the Marketing team’s Viva Engage campaigns and track engagement
- Research and present opportunities to track and increase employee engagement across Smith’s internal-communications platforms
- Coordinate with the Visual Design team to produce engaging, high-quality graphics that effectively highlight Smith’s messaging
- Participate in weekly planning meetings with the greater Marketing team and Content team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, English, creative writing or a related field
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prioritize and self-manage tasks and projects
- Excellent communication, interview, and storytelling skills with the ability to quickly learn and simplify complex concepts
- Detail-oriented with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gather information from and collaborate with subject-matter experts across all departments
- Experience with Monday.com, Canva, MailChimp, and/or SurveyMonkey a plus

Dates: Monday, June 2nd to Friday, August 8th (10 weeks)
