Responsibilities and work hours:
The work hours of the Safety Coordinator are 7:00a to 3:30p Monday-Friday, reporting to the Director, Finance & Administration. Responsibilities include analyzing work environment for unsafe work procedures and hazards, providing health and safety training to all employees, recommending changes to work conditions and procedures to improve the work environment and comply with all health and safety regulations, inspecting work environment to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, reporting safety violations and injuries to the appropriate authorities, and performing any additional duties assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will possess at 4 year degree and at least 2 years of related safety related experience. Knowledge of OSHA construction standards and proficiency with Microsoft products are essential.
