Smith Brothers Distributing Company – Bardstown, KY

Requirements and Competencies:
•Must be 21 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
•Ability to safely operate job related equipment (i.e. hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
•Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job (i.e. bending, lifting, twisting, standing, etc.).
•Ability to lift/handle product weighing up to 165 pounds.
•Ability to work in cold temperatures.
•Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Maintain appearance of facility including monitoring and repacking damaged product and general maintenance.
•Ensure proper stock rotation in the warehouse and on the route trucks.
•Ensure loads are built and loaded accurately and in a timely manner.
•Safely operate various types of warehouse equipment as necessary (i.e. baler, shrink wrap, etc.).
•Fork truck operation
•Must maintain load accuracy at current level
•Load and unload delivery and over-the-road trucks
•Build palletized loads from computer-generated load sheets
•Perform warehouse and individual load inventory counts
•Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of facilities

- 10 hour shift
