Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented construction technician to work hands on within construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construcction within the remodel/reconstruction industry, demonstrating expertise carpentary skills and abilities. This role requires effective communication skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer expectations each day while performing work on clients property or in their home, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules in order to keep the cusomer up to date, while executing in a proficient manner.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review contracts and manage contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to make progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize construction techniques to ensure all work is completed that can be warrantied for over 1 year.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide project implementation.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, changes, and challenges.
Experience
- Proven experience in: Flooring installation (LVP/Laminate), Subfloor, Underlayment,Drywall (Install, mudding, floating, texturing), Cabinetry, Trim & Painting, is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices and contract management.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
