Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our team. Your primary job is to enhance the natural beauty of wood cabinets through your expertise in sanding and staining techniques, while keeping jobs organized and in order of priority.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various finishing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed to ensure the final product has an even, smooth finish with no visible defects.
- Properly sand and smooth surfaces in order to skillfully apply stains/glazes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in finishing work.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work with hand tools and machinery for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to notice imperfections and ensure the finish is flawless.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
