The Neuroscience Program at Smith College invites applications for a 1-year, benefits eligible position at the rank of Lecturer to begin July 1, 2025. Teaching responsibilities for this position will include NSC210 Fundamentals of Neuroscience, Lecture in NSC230 Experimental Methods in Neuroscience, NSC325 Research Methods in Cellular Signaling, and a 300 level course in Cellular Neuroscience or Neurophysiology. Other courses may be taught depending upon the candidate’s field of specialization. Candidates should have a strong foundation in Neuroscience and candidates with experience in cell culture are encouraged to apply. Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a relevant field, is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates from groups underrepresented in Neuroscience are encouraged to apply.
