Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Westover Plant Address: 11825 Hwy 280 Westover, AL 35147
Shifts Available: 1st Shift - 6:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday
Hourly Rate: starting at $18.00 to $20.00.
Full Time: 40 hours weeks

Responsibilities:
· Installing mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, belts, and couplings.
· Drilling and tapping holes.
· Assemble machines with a time limit and correctly without damaging the paint or parts.
· Understands and can follow manufacturing processes and procedures.
· Must have own tools (wrench & Allen wrench, sockets, screw drivers)
· Must be self-sufficient, responsible, and have a great attitude.
· No attendance issues.
· Performs tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
· Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
Basic Qualifications:
. Able to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics.
. Experience in performing installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Industrial Equipment.
. Experience in Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mechanical systems and components.
. Ability to utilize precision measurement instruments.
. Must be able to stand on feet for 8-10 hour shifts, excluding breaks and lunches.
. Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs. frequently with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
