Job Overview
We are seeking a experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts payable, corporate finance, and regulatory reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while supporting various financial operations within the organization.
Duties:
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct technical accounting tasks, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Perform bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer account maintenance
- Process accounts payable, including vendor invoice verification and payment processing
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or trends in financial data
- Assist with tax preparation
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel) Accounting CS
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Associate's degree in accounting
