Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. Duties
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass and plants.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks such as trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and maintaining garden beds.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weeding, mulching, and irrigation system management to ensure optimal plant health.
- Monitor grounds for any safety hazards or maintenance needs, reporting issues as necessary.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects to enhance the appearance of the property.
- Maintain cleanliness of all groundskeeping equipment and tools to ensure longevity and safety during use.
Experience
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is advantageous.
- Knowledge of gardening practices, irrigation techniques, and lawn care principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work in all aspects of groundskeeping.
