Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial / Residential Apprentice Electrician with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, installations, and repairs, as well as a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other industry regulations. Responsibilities :
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently.
Interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local electrical codes.
Collaborate with lead electricians and other team members to complete projects on time.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Perform electrical testing and inspections to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Assist with project documentation, including work logs and material tracking.
Stay up to date with changes in electrical codes, industry standards, and new technologies.
Requirements :
4 to 8 years of relevant electrical experience in commercial and residential environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with wiring, circuits, panel installations, and lighting systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in the trade.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Experience with energy-efficient and renewable electrical systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
