Now, we’re looking for a Controls Technician to join our growing team. If you have a deep understanding of BAS (Building Automation Systems), HVAC controls, and DDC (Direct Digital Controls), we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
🔹 System Expertise: Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical sequences—suggesting optimizations for real-world conditions.
🔹 On-Site Leadership: Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth startup and commissioning.
🔹 System Installation & Inspection: Oversee HVAC equipment and controls, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and operation.
🔹 Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify control system issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
🔹 Software & Hardware Optimization: Modify DDC panels and update control software for comfort, efficiency, and energy savings.
🔹 Customer Communication: Build strong client relationships, provide training, and recommend system enhancements or upgrades.
🔹 Service & Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while identifying upsell opportunities for system improvements.
🔹 Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain a high level of professionalism, safety, and reliability.
What You Bring:
✔ 10 years of hands-on experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) in commercial environments.
✔ Expertise in DDC controls, communication protocols, and networking methods.
✔ Strong HVAC systems knowledge with experience in both legacy and modern control systems.
✔ Ability to read, update, and develop controls system submittal drawings.
✔ A self-starter mindset with strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
