Shop Tech

Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks in the shop and compost business including but not limited to:
- Operating power tools and hand tools, including pliers, wrench, wire cutters, drill,
sander,
- Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs, including, changing tires, brakes, lights, brake chambers, slack adjusters, changing bearings and shafts
- Troubleshooting equipment small engines if needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using a forklift
- Minor Welding
-Assist with service calls when needed
- Fill-In as operator when needed (training provided)
-Fill-In with compost business when needed (training provided)

-Other Duties as assigned

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to assemble parts accurately
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Some overtime may be needed to satisfy customer timelines. Must be reliable and show up to work as scheduled. Valid driver's license required. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
