What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Smith Health and Wellness?
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify patients information and insurance
- Perform data entry tasks and updating patient information
- Handle outgoing billing, insurance payments, and patient payments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred but not required. Will train.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
