Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows all Safety policies and procedures, and immediately notifies supervisor or other manager if Safety protocols cannot be met. Wears all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) per company policies or contractor requirements. Reports all incidents and accidents regardless of severity to supervisor immediately. Understands that he/she has stop-work authority if work cannot or is not being done safely. Please remember that all incidents and accidents can be prevented with proper job planning and hazard recognition (JSA).
- Receives and inputs data for Quality Assurance and performs appropriate filing.
- Registers all code vessels with The National Board through the Smith AIW/3rd party inspection company.
- Assists in formatting all Microsoft Word and Excel documents in accordance with company policy and document tracking.
- Maintains electronic and manual filing system.
- Assists with meeting deadlines for assignments given by supervisor and manager with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintains constant communication with supervisor and manager, reporting all issues or changes.
- Must have capability to learn internal software systems.
- Needs to have basic knowledge of ASME and API codes.
- Provides back-up for customer service/Receptionist positions as needed.
