A Parts Account Representative at Smith and Loveless Making outbound calls to customer and representatives to follow up and close on quotes. Touch base with key accounts and work on keeping them happy and keeping them buying Smith & Loveless parts.
Skills/Requirements
- High school graduate. Some college/technical skills preferred.
- Customer relationship skills through outbound phone calls.
- 2 to 5 years clerical experience preferred.
- Excellent phone skills including calling of Key Accounts.
- Experience in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Confidence in picking up the phone and making outbound phone calls.
Job duties
- Make outbound calls to follow-up with customers on quotes and work towards getting them to order parts quoted.
- Make outbound calls to follow up with representatives on quotes and work towards getting them to order parts quoted.
- Make outbound calls to key account customers to make sure they are happy with S&Ls product and to promote Smith & Loveless products and more purchases.
- Make follow-up calls to customers on various departmental requests and special projects.
- Track outbound call efforts via CRM and Excel spreadsheet.
- Provide tracking and feedback on Key Accounts, Rep Performance, and customers to Parts Manager.
- Look up information in an order system to assist with customer requests and questions.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager, Parts Department.
