We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Financial Manager to oversee the billing and financial administration of our law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Client Accounts:
- Manage the full billing cycle, including invoice preparation, tracking, and collections.
- Process and maintain client retainers, trust accounts, and settlements in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Address client inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account statements with professionalism and clarity.
- Ensure accurate recording of attorney billable hours, expenses, and disbursements.
- Work closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Financial Administration:
- Reconcile client accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions.
- Assist with financial reporting related to billing and accounts receivable.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations and law firm financial policies.
- Optimize billing workflows and implement efficiency improvements.
- Train and support staff on billing and financial procedures as needed.
