Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Measurer/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the process of flooring sales by providing accurate measurements within customers' homes to create cost estimates for various projects. The Estimator will work closely with local flooring establishments and project managers to ensure that all estimates align with project goals and budgets. This is a 1099 position that requires travel to customer's homes and the use of your vehicle. A reliable vehicle is a must. Travel may be at a distance therefore, compensation will be available. Applicant must be reliable, effectively manage time/schedules, people friendly, computer-oriented, organized, and methodical for success within this position. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed measurements for flooring projects using industry-standard methods and software.
- Collaborate with the project manager to develop comprehensive estimates and timelines.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate measurements.
- Maintain organized records and changes throughout the project duration.
Experience
- Some experience in flooring, estimating, or a related field is suggested.
- Strong work ethic.
- Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in using estimating software.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing measurements and specifications.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently while managing multiple projects.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
