Job Description:
Smith Heating & Air is seeking a motivated Preventive Maintenance HVAC Technician to join our team! This role focuses on performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and reliability. While some HVAC experience is preferred, it is not required—we provide training for the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Clean, inspect, and replace air filters, belts, and other components as needed.
- Check refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
- Educate customers on system maintenance and potential upgrades.
- Identify and recommend necessary repairs, earning monthly commission on parts and equipment sales.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate with team members.
Requirements:
- HVAC experience preferred but not required (training provided).
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
· Monthly commission on parts and equipment sales.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
