Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead and manage the accounting department, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in GAAP and financial reporting, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting department, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax preparers, and insurance providers to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and present insights to senior management.
• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls over financial reporting processes to provide reasonable assurance regarding the reliability of financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop business plans, set strategic priorities, and allocate resources.
• Safeguard financial assets, maximize cash flow, and optimize financial processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage investor relations by effectively communicating financial performance and growth prospects to investors and analysts.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and timely filing of required reports.
• Manage stock compensation programs and ensure adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working within a publicly traded company.
• Strong expertise in GAAP and financial reporting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
