Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions and manage customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure availability.
- Assist in training new staff members on beverage preparation techniques and customer service standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly while ensuring accuracy in sales reporting.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in math skills for handling cash transactions and managing sales effectively.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.
- Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, particularly in a café or retail environment.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate inventory management and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation is a plus.

Pay: $16.38 - $20.25 per hour
