Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Automotive Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all vehicle repairs meet our high standards before they are returned to the customer. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, basic automotive knowledge, and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform post-repair quality control inspections on vehicles to verify repairs were completed correctly.
Test drive vehicles to ensure proper operation and diagnose any lingering issues.
Verify that all repairs meets our company and manufacturer and safety standards.
Work closely with technicians to address any quality concerns or incomplete repairs.
Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings.
Perform mini clean of customer vehicles.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of shop work areas.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in automotive quality control or as a technician is helpful but not required, can be trained.
Knowledge of automotive repair processes and diagnostic procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors.
