Position: CNC Setup / Operator
An expanding North Georgia manufacturing company is looking for qualified Machinists. This is a great career opportunity in a great small community. The successful candidate shall:
High School diploma or GED plus supplemental education thru a trade or technical school or apprentice program in this field / or 2 years minimum previous work experience in this field.
Prompt, dependable, reliable as well as self-driven and self-motivated.
Capable of standing, and walking, 8 hours plus per day, with routine lifting up to 40-lbs.
Energetic and production oriented and capable of working in a fast paced environment – often on multiple machines.
Willing to work daily and weekly overtime as needed.
Able to follow setup sheets, job travelers, & in process inspection reports.
Thorough knowledge of CAD drawings and GD&T.
Familiar with ISO or other quality systems.
Have good organizational skills.
Pay attention to details, dimensions and cosmetics on parts produced.
Possess your own shop & measuring tools adequate to complete task as required.
Experience with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi controls.
Have good knowledge base of CNC Operation and / or Setup of multi axis machines.
We need CNC Swiss (up to 14axis), CNC Turn / Mill (up to 6axis), & CNC VMC (up to 5axis) setup personnel.

Starting at $18 - $32 / hr depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
