Job Responsibilities:
a) Books loads and miles; enters the orders on the computer system; arranges for the delivery and pickup of goods;
b) Actively monitors the movement progress of loads as required to maximize service to customers
c) Interfaces with Sales Personnel, Load Planners and Driver Managers to maintain awareness of current movement requirements
d) Uses information from load planning meetings to ensure that all details and requirements of customers are set forth
e) Solicits freight by lane and by customer; develops and manages customer accounts.
f) Serves as the primary contact with assigned customers for receipt of movement orders
g) Handles any accessorial, extra charges, billing issues.
h) Monitors trailer pools of customers ensuring proper equipment is available for drop and hook purposes
i) Works with customer contacts concerning any overages, shortages & damages ( OS & D) that occurs with their loads
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
