Position Overview
Service repair technicians are responsible for the care and maintenance of small engine lawn care equipment. They play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.
What You’ll Do
· Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of small engine equipment such as Toro, Ventrac, Exmark, Scag, Stihl
· Perform scheduled maintenance, including change oil, hydraulic fluid and all necessary filters and fluids in a variety of agricultural equipment
· Diagnose and identify malfunctions
· Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn out parts
· Complete documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders
· Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment serviced
· Participate in available company sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge
· Perform all duties in a professional and safe manner
Skills We Are Seeking
· Minimum of 2 years of experience working on gasoline and diesel engines
· Certifications from STIHL, Kohler, Toro, Exmark, Briggs and Stratton are a plus
· Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic problems
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with others
· Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds
· High school diploma or equivalent required
