What you bring to the table:
- Registered Nurse licensing in good standing in the state of Illinois
- 1-3 years of experience (preferred)
- Long term care experience (preferred)
- Completion of infection preventionist certification (preferred)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management of all the infection control protocols for the Smith Crossing campus
- Effectively develops infection prevention plans according to the current infection control protocols.
- Assigns responsibility for direct resident care to the nursing staff and ensures that the care is rendered according to the facility’s policies.
- Ensures that the resident’s care plan correctly depict the resident’s condition and ensures that the plan of care is followed for each resident.
- Serves as a resource to the clinical team with regards to infection control
- Part of Management rotation (Every 5 weeks rotation)
