What are the responsibilities and job description for the AVP, Property Underwriting position at Smith & Wilkinson?
Our scaling fronting carrier client is adding to their Property Programs Team and looking for an AVP-level technical property underwriter to help manage a dozen programs from a referral and cross functional standpoint to ensure the continued success of these books.
The ideal candidate will have a strong production underwriting background in any mix of admitted and commercial E&S property business (MGA experience is a plus, but not mandatory), will interface with back-office departments and externally with brokers and program leaders running due diligence of underwriting guidelines, forms, market analysis, and more.
This position will join a team of proactive and detail-oriented underwriters around the U.S. and must report to their NYC office 1-2 days a week. Please contact Colin Morgan to learn more!
