Smith and Wilkinson is seeking a Consultant to launch a new vertical practice in 2025. This is a job for a mid-career professional, with established industry vertical expertise and relationships, who wants to leverage their experience and relationships to build a new practice from the ground up. This is akin to building a business inside a business, using the resources, balance sheet, and expertise of our organization to support an entrepreneurial endeavor. As the new practice grows, we will build a team around this person.
We are open to many new vertical specialties, though especially interested in the following:
- Industrial, Manufacturing, and Distribution
- Consumer Brands
- Real Estate
- Professional Services
- Life Sciences, Healthtech, and Healthcare
- Legal
- Education, Associations & Not for Profit
We are an Executive Search and Talent Advisory firm. We help our clients to attract, develop, promote, and retain their best and brightest employees. Our services include Executive Search, Employee Assessment, Succession Planning, Executive Coaching, Group Leadership Development, Employee Engagement Surveys, Culture and Team Building Workshops, and related engagements.
We currently serve three primary industry verticals: Banks and Credit Unions, Insurance, and Private Credit companies. Our clients generally have between 50-1500 employees, which is the market segment where we find the greatest demand for our services.
Our consultants spend most of their time developing and managing client relationships and project engagements and personally conducting Executive Search projects. Our Talent Advisory services are sold and quarterbacked by our consultants but delivered by a team of subject matter experts. Executive Search is our largest line of business and remains the core of what we do.
