As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all laboratory activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day supervision over technical laboratory operations
- Oversee sample management, including receipt, preparation, analysis, data review, and reporting
- Effectively manage staff training, performance, meetings, and evaluations for a team of 3-5 scientists
- Ensure laboratory operations comply with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, state cannabis testing regulations, and internal SOPs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry, environmental science, physical science, or biology)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in analytical testing and quality assurance, preferably in a regulated industry
- Proven experience with ISO 17025 quality management systems and regulatory submissions
