Your Opportunity
The Quality Assurance Analytical Lab Technician coordinates the daily preparation of samples for analytical testing, performs analytical procedures and general laboratory sanitation.
Core Responsibilities
- Performs analytical procedures; such as NIR, AA, Protein Analyzer, etc.
- Performs basic preparation techniques for analytical testing.
- Ensures instruments are properly calibrated
- Enters analytical results into computer.
- Maintains proper sanitation in laboratory.
- Splits and grinds samples for analytical testing.
- Performs tasks which generate grain and ingredients dust in enclosed areas.
- Performs chemical procedures.
- Follows all safety and laboratory policies.
- Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy-Brown LLC subscribes.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with company EMS policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties.
- Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
- Reads and understands the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.
