What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Monitor position at Smithfield Public Schools?
North Providence Public Schools is seeking to hire three Yard Monitors to work on a daily basis. The available positions are located at Centredale Elementary School, Greystone Elementary School and Stephen Olney Elementary School. Yard Monitors work 1 hour per day (1 / 2 hour in the morning, 8 : 40 a.m. to 9 : 10 am; and a 1 / 2 hour in the afternoon, 3 : 15 pm to 3 : 45 pm) to oversee the safety of students before and after school. This is a great opportunity for parents and / or grandparents who have a strong desire to help our schools maintain a safe school culture! You must have a sincere and warm approach with students, parents, and staff and be able to quickly assess any issues that can be addressed safely by you; or call for assistance if needed.
