Golf Course Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that our grounds and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to promote optimal growth.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Maintain equipment used in landscaping and lawn care to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with landscape design projects as needed, contributing ideas for improvements or enhancements.
• Monitor plant health and identify any issues that may require attention, such as pests or diseases.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in lawn care and landscaping.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape design principles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
