SmithGroupis looking for aInformation & Communications Technology (ICT) Designerto join our team.This position is ideally located within commuting distance of one of our offices, but remote options can be discussed.
Working with us, you will:
- Be part of integrated architecture and engineering project design teams.
- Document building ICT systems including audiovisual, structured cabling, and electronic security systems in Revit, guided by design directives and redlines following established CAD/BIM standards.
- Help perform system assessments and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate among other disciplines using coordination software like Navisworks.
- Participate in design meetings.
- Receive mentorship from experienced senior designers.
An ideal candidate has:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Revit.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with structured cabling, audiovisual, and electronic security systems, or other building systems a plus.
- A willingness to learn and take advantage of growth opportunities.
