A qualified Keyholder Team Member candidate creates sales and customer loyalty through sincere, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful service and enables a positive shopping experience for customers through the maintenance of an easy to shop, clean, organized, and safe showroom floor inside and outdoors. Our Keyholder Team Members pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction. They are empathetic in resolving customer concerns and merchandise returns.

Our Keyholder Team Members have a genuine interest in serving customers with thoughtfulness and kindness. Our Keyholder Team Members love plants and pets and will ask customers about their gardens or about their furry, feathered, scaled, shelled, or finned “family” members. Duties include: Opening, closing, and cashing-out the store as scheduled and according to the applicable store procedures for safety and security. They will supervise employees for limited periods when the Store Manager is not on site. Keyholders greet customers with sincerity, and may be responsible for cashiering, product stocking and pricing, merchandising, customer service and sales, inventory tasks, cleaning, and various projects in any store department. Our Keyholder Team Members answer questions, resolve complaints, and guide our customers toward solutions. They are knowledgeable about our Loyalty/rewards programs, inviting customers not part of the Loyalty program with an explanation of program benefit. Keyholders may also assist customers with getting products to customer vehicles.
Requirements: A key qualification for this role is demonstrated dependability. A Keyholder Team Member should also have high level of enthusiasm for service and personal energy, a strong work ethic, and strong interpersonal and conversational skills to create customer engagement. They help our customers feel comfortable in their shopping experience. Keyholder Team Members have some sales experience and a great attention to detail, an ability to work well in a team environment, and to work with a diverse staff. Successful Keyholder Team Members can grow into other career opportunities in our stores. Keyholder Team Member candidates must submit to a background check prior to the extension of an offer of employment. Our Keyholder Team Member opportunities may be full-time, part-time, regular, or seasonal, depending on the store location.
