Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to join our team in Salisbury, United States. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and safety while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize plant efficiency and productivity
- Manage daily operations, including production scheduling, quality control, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Oversee budget management and cost control measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and inventory management
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and quality management systems
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
Duties & Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in team development and motivation
- Proficiency in operations management, budget control, and performance metrics analysis
- Solid understanding of supply chain management and inventory control
- Experience with project management and change implementation
- Six Sigma certification is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry-specific regulations
